Book club 2023

We would like to host a book club from time to time during the Thursday Icecream events. Here are a list of books we would like to start with:

1. Lifespan: Why We Age ― and Why We Don’t Have To, by David A. Sinclair
2. The Information, by James Gleick
3. Thinking, Fast and Slow, by Daniel Kahneman

Also some chapters of the following books might be of interest:

1. The Signal and the Noise: Why So Many Predictions Fail, by Nate Silver. There is a chapter on Bayesian statistic
2. The Emperor of All Maladies, by Siddhartha Mukherjee. There is a chapter on lung cancer and statistcs in epidemiology
